Congressman Rob Bresnahan recently announced that he has earned the endorsement of Stroud Lodge #75 of the Fraternal Order of Police, representing approximately 180 law enforcement officers in Monroe County, PA.

The endorsement follows Bresnahan’s recent address to the lodge, when he reaffirmed his commitment to supporting law enforcement, first responders and public safety across Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District.

“Congressman Bresnahan has a spotless record supporting law enforcement. From bringing back over $1 million to fight the opioid epidemic in Monroe County, to defending our rights to collectively bargain, and cosponsoring legislation to punish those who harm law enforcement officers, he’s backed the blue since the day he was sworn in,” said lodge president Jesse Van Orden. “Public safety starts with supporting the brave officers and first responders who serve our communities with integrity and courage,” said Bresnahan. “I am honored to have the support of the men and women of Stroud Lodge #75 who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. In Congress, I will always have their backs just like they have ours.”
