MIDDLETOWN, NY — Garnet Health Medical Center’s Ray W. Moody, MD Breast Center offers patient navigator services to provide support and guidance through every stage of care, from screening and diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.

Aimee Monastero serves as the center’s breast cancer patient navigator. She began her career in 2015 as an authorization specialist and went on to gain experience in radiology and breast oncology. Most recently, she served as a patient navigator at Westchester Medical Center, where she worked under the medical director of the breast center and assisted all newly diagnosed breast disease patients.

The center offers advanced, compassionate breast care in a healing environment, Garnet Health said. Services include screening and diagnostic mammography, 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, fine needle aspiration (FNA), ultrasound-guided FNA/vacuum-assisted breast biopsy and  galactograms.

The program involves wellness, early detection, rapid diagnosis and leading-edge therapies. It offers a dedicated patient navigator and supportive community program.
