Callicoon Lanes is offering all league bowlers in its establishment a chance to win a “free game” of open bowling.

During the month of February, a man who rolls four strikes in a row and a woman who scores three strikes in a row during league play will receive a free game chip good through April at Callicoon lanes. Anyone who qualifies should advise house management immediately upon bowling the required number of strikes in order to receive their free game chip.

The Sullivan County Men’s Bowling Association 25th Annual Championship Tournament being held in Jeffersonville, N.Y. got underway January 31. Team events are taking place at Colonial Inn, with Doubles and Singles being rolled at Jeff Alley. Additional dates for this tournament are February 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22, with entries closing prior to the last squads on February 22. Handicap is 100% of 1000 for Team, and of 200 for Doubles and Singles, with a maximum of 60 pins per game per player. Cash and trophy prizes will be awarded. In addition, the team event winner will have its entry fee paid to the New York State Tournament. Entry form with detailed information can be obtained at local bowling establishments.
