BETHEL, NY — After a two-year absence, racing is returning to Bethel Speedway on Saturday, October 31. This special Halloween event will feature an afternoon of grassroots auto racing, children’s Halloween activities and a free Community Trunk or Treat beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m., following the races.
The Trunk or Treat is open to everyone in the community, even those who do not attend the race. Families are encouraged to bring their children in Halloween costumes and enjoy the festivities.
Racing begins at 2 p.m., with five exciting racing divisions. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, and children under 12 are admitted free.
“At a time when we hear so much about local racetracks closing, we believe the reopening of Bethel Speedway is a positive story for Sullivan County and the surrounding communities,” the speedway wrote. “It’s about more than racing—it’s about bringing families together, supporting local businesses and bringing new life to a longtime motorsports venue.”
The rain date is Sunday, November 1.
