BEACH LAKE, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) plans to improve the Catholic Church Road bridge over Beach Lake Creek, with construction planned for the summer of 2026.
There will be an in-person meeting where the public can hear details about the project. It will take place on February 18 at 7 p.m., at the Berlin Township Community Center at 50 Milanville Road, Beach Lake, PA.
PennDOT plans to replace an existing 60'' pipe carrying Beach Lake Creek under Route 1011, Catholic Church Road, with a two-lane, cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert. The project also includes minor approach roadway work and guide rail updates.
