I always take heart that the most important thing that we can do is to be present and to show up for our community. What this means to me during the election season is that we familiarize ourselves with the what candidates stand for, and their thoughts and actions as they step out to be chosen as our civic leaders.

Being informed, being involved, and showing up is the winning ticket.
