WURTSBORO, NY — The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting and open house celebrating the one-year anniversary of Bashakill Bazaar.
The event featured a Hibino lunch pop-up (with onigiri) and the ribbon cutting (with the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association and the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce).
Bashakill Bazaar is described as a vibrant vintage market featuring over 25 unique vendors who offer a curated mix of antiques, clothing, vinyl records, furniture, home décor and local art. “The eclectic collective blends nostalgic charm with modern flair, creating a welcoming environment for both seasoned collectors and casual shoppers,” the Chamber of Commerce wrote.
Special thanks were given to Sara Nahas from Brother’s Vintage and Variety, who worked tirelessly to keep the shop running smoothly and supports the amazing vendors that make the Bazaar such a special place, the chamber continued.
The Bazaar also hosts monthly events, including the Sip & Shop, where visitors can enjoy complimentary drinks while exploring the ever-changing selection of treasures.
Bashakill Bazaar is located at 138 Sullivan St.
It’s open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
