Spring is on its way, and the coming of the season means different things to different people.
For some, the warming weather offers the chance for relaxation, for sitting outside in a lawn chair and enjoying the year’s first rays of sunlight. For others, it’s an opportunity to go foraging, harvesting the beauty of the natural world in the course of a long walk.
Yet others take this as a time to start on a whole checklist of spring-cleaning chores and renovation projects, carefully compiled from a series of “Oh, I should do that,” or “This year’s the year I stop putting it off” thoughts, squirreled away during the prohibitive winter months. For those people, we’ve got suggestions on where to go to stock up on home supplies, compiled from this year’s “Best Of” readers’ choice awards.
