It's all well and good to love. Loving is an important state of being. But love is not passive. Love is action.

And according to Mother Teresa, love is service in action.

Mother Teresa's love for India's poor, indeed, the world's poor, set her apart. Despite her own later-in-life questioning about her own relationship with spirit, she continued her work with the poor. In service always.

At this time, when so many of our neighbors, friends and our global family are struggling, I take heart that love that manifests in service multiplies the world over.
