The Aktion Club of Sullivan County is composed of individuals affiliated with New Hope Community, Arc Greater Hudson Valley and The Center for Discovery.  Although they may all have disabilities, that certainly does not prevent them from doing so much for their communities.  

After starting the week off visiting two nursing/rehab centers in Liberty, NY, and bearing Valentine cards and gifts for the residents, they ended the week by selling paper hearts and raising $277 for the 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon.  The members plan to continue giving back through additional events throughout the year.  

Aktion Club of Sullivan County is sponsored by the Monticello and Woodridge Kiwanis Clubs, which also participated in the nursing home visits and Heart-A-Thon fundraiser.
