LAKE WALLENPAUPACK — The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Honesdale barracks is seeking public assistance in identifying an individual who illegally entered the Wallenpaupack Dam property on the evening of March 16, 2026.

At approximately 6:15 PM, a male suspect gained unauthorized access to the dam by entering through the overlook pull-off located along State Route 590.

The individual was observed bypassing clearly posted "No Trespassing" signage and climbing over the sunburst gates to enter the restricted dam area.

State Police are looking for a male individual wearing all-black attire and white sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident is encouraged to contact PSP Honesdale.
