The Delaware Company presents the Festival of the Founding Fish: Upper Delaware Shad Fest, celebrating the American shad’s importance to the Upper Delaware. The events in the festival will take place from May 19 to 28, with free and ticketed events occuring all week long, including shad food tastings, educationsal talks, a dance party, an angler's fair and craft beer and cocktails.
Accomodation packages are available at preferred venues: Kittatinny Campground, Lander's Narrowsburg Campground, the Stickett Inn and the Hotel Darby. Info about ticketed events is available at myrivertickets.com.
