NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) presents two photography exhibitions that delve into human experiences, community bonds and social narratives, with an opening reception on Friday, September 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“The Farm: Inside Angola’s Prison Rodeo” by Chris Heim—a look at the notorious Louisiana prison—will be exhibited in the Alliance Gallery. “You’ve Seen My Flesh,” by Dani Case, looks at the lives and relationships of young artists in a small town; it will be held in the Loft Gallery.
Both reveal the power of photography to shed light on intricate facets of human life, a DVAA spokesperson said.
Both exhibits will be on display until October 29. The DVAA’s hours are Thursdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment.
For more information and to learn more about the individual exhibits, visit delawarevalleyartsalliance.org or call 845/252-7576.
