LIBERTY, NY — The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association (SCVA) is proud to announce the unveiling of new dove sculptures to join the Sullivan Catskills Dove Trail this spring and summer.

The Dove Trail has long been cherished by locals and visitors alike for its celebration of art and community spirit. Building upon its legacy, the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is thrilled to introduce ten stunning new dove sculptures, each crafted by talented local artists.

The next unveiling will be held at Prestige Towing, 7 Sullivan Ave., at the corner of Sullivan Avenue and Route 52, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27. 

This dove was painted by River Reporter columnist Kim Simons, the author of Kim’s Kitchen.

More doves will be revealed in the following weeks. 

The Dove Trail is a legacy project by the SCVA to honor the heritage of the Woodstock festival. What started as 50 doves has now grown to over 70, with 10 more additions this year.

The Sullivan Catskills Dove Trail invites visitors on a journey of exploration and contemplation, inviting them to discover hidden gems and scenic vistas while encountering these captivating works of art. 

The Dove Trail was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock Festival and tell the story of our communities. The SCVA will continue the Dove Trail to bring global awareness of the Sullivan Catskills and to continue the economic impact it has brought to the county.
