In-person high-school equivalency classes offered in Honesdale

HONESDALE, PA — Northampton Community College and the Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance (WPWA) will hold in-person classes at the alliance’s office for the GED credential; flexible scheduling options are available.
Classes start immediately. Morning and evening classes are available, making it easier for you to balance your education with other commitments, a spokesperson said.
The partnership between Northampton Community College and WPWA aims to provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment for GED-credential candidates. The WPWA is located at 107 8th St.
“Our commitment to accessible education means that individuals in our community can now pursue their GED with greater convenience and support,” said Pantea Shademani, director of education at WPWA.
“Education is a vital pathway to personal and professional growth,” said Katheryne Hait, WPWA chief operating officer.
