Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gregory Chelak:

Michael Ralph Orlando, age 52, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 4 years to 8 years in a state correctional facility and fined $1,500.00 for the crimes of Prohibited Offensive Weapon, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Disorderly Conduct.  On April 14, 2017, Eastern Pike Regional Police were dispatched to a parking lot along Route 6 and 209 in Westfall Township, where Orlando had shot a firearm into the ground four times during a dispute with another individual.

Cheryl Ann Crawford, 46, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 32 days to 18 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $300.00 and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.  The state police observed Crawford operating a vehicle along SR 739 in Dingman Township on June 17, 2013, with an expired registration.  The state police attempted to pull over Crawford who ignored their lights and siren and evaded the troopers reaching speeds in excess of 92 mph.  The chase came to an end when Crawford failed to negotiate a turn due to flat tires, and entered into a grass field.

Christina L. Uhelsky, age 34, of Lords Valley, PA, was sentenced to 6 months of probation (to run consecutive to her current sentence) and fined $200.00 for the crime of Attempt to Furnish Drug-Free Urine.  Uhelsky provided urine which was not her own during a drug test conducted by the Pike County Probation Office on April 6, 2017, at the Pike County Administration Building.

Kimani A. Barkley, age 40, of Kingston, PA, was sentenced to 2 days to 4 days in the Pike County Jail, fined $500.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 6 months for the crime of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana.  The state police pulled Barkley over on November 16, 2015, for speeding through a construction zone on I-84 in Milford Township.  While speaking with Barkley, the trooper detected the smell of Marihuana.  Barkley was found in possession of a small amount of Marihuana.

Allan C. Vogel, age 56, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 6 months of probation (to run consecutive to his April 2017 sentence) and fined $300.00 for the crime of Flight to Avoid Apprehension.  On March 24, 2017, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department attempted to execute a bench warrant on Vogel at a residence located in Dingman Township.  Vogel fled through a rear window of the residence into a wooded area to avoid apprehension.

Carl Lewis, age 59, of Port Jervis, NY, was sentenced to a $300.00 fine for the crime of Retail Theft.  Lewis took merchandise totaling $23.97 from a retail store in Westfall Township on August 7, 2014, without paying for it.

Ashton Akbar Joseph, age 34, of Newfoundland, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $300.00 for the crime of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Joseph was stopped while traveling along SR 434 in Blooming Grove Township on May 4, 2016, for an expired inspection sticker.  The trooper observed in plain view on the passenger side of the vehicle a medication bottle containing a green leafy material.  Joseph provided the trooper with a grinder, an additional baggie of Marihuana and a glass pipe.

David Allen Sudol, age 32, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,200.00 and had his driver’s license suspended for 24 months for the crimes of Driving Under the Influence and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.  The state police were dispatched to SR 739 in Dignman Township on March 24, 2008, where Sudol’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.  Upon speaking with Sudol, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage and observed Sudol’s eyes to be bloodshot and dilated.  A breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .165%.
