LEBANON TWP., PA — A Prompton man who had been reported as missing was found dead in the woods. Pennsylvania State Police reported that 46-year-old James David Edsall went missing from his home on November 15.

On November 18, two hunters spotted his pick-up truck at a parking area attached to state game lands on Pine Mill Road. The hunters alerted authorities.

Police responded and search the woods nearby and discovered Edsall’s body. Police said Edsall “took his life,” but “no suspicious circumstances or signs of foul play were detected.”
