PennDot meets with residents

Posted

On July 29 at 6 p.m., consultants and engineers from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be at the Tusten Town Hall to meet with everyone concerned about the work to be done on the Narrowsburg Bridge.

I am in receipt of a letter from PennDOT stating that they “are aware of the public interest surrounding the [Narrowsburg Bridge] project and hope to be able to alleviate some of the concerns by informing the community of the project status, planned work, schedule, and anticipated traffic control scenarios.” There will be an audio-visual presentation and “a question-and-answer period following the presentation to allow residents and concerned citizens the opportunity to speak with knowledgeable project representatives.”

To all of the hundreds of people who signed letters and to those who signed petitions, this will be the time for you to learn what is planned, ask questions, and voice your concerns.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.
