Taxpayer asks if his education investment pays off for grads

Thanks for the yearly picture layout of Delaware Valley (DV) grads. They always look so young and hopeful. Does anyone know what happens to these people after graduation?

I ask because President Obama last week gave the commencement address at Worcester Technical High School in Massachusetts, and the school reported proudly that 80% of its grads go on to college, 12% go into the workforce, and 3% to the military. Some are undecided at graduation. DV has never revealed such stats for its grads.

Why not? What are they hiding?

For those of us in the community who pay ever increasing school taxes, the right to ask this question derives from that yearly exaction. For me, the cost is almost $100 per week, every week, every year, for the rest of my life.

Some of us are affronted by DV’s lack of reporting.
