Richard “Dick” George Jones of Honesdale, PA died on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his home. He was 72.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, November 3 at Queen of Peace Church in Hawley, PA. Entombment followed in Fairview Memorial Park.

Mary T. Wicksnes

Mary T. Wicksnes, a lifelong resident of Lackawaxen, PA, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at home. She was 57.

The funeral will be at a future date and time to be announced at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Parish, Shohola, PA with Rev. Thomas Major officiating.

Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

Mary’s family requests that memorial donations in her name be sent to any of the wonderful charities that support breast cancer research.

Phyllis Zachry Roman

Phyllis Zachry Roman of Sparrowbush, NY, passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at Milford Senior Care, Milford, PA. She was 71.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 7 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis. Rev. Robert Cassidy officiated. Interment took place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, PA.

Shirley Lessun

Shirley Lessun, lifelong resident of Tyler Hill, PA and the Honesdale area, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012, in Hancock, Michigan. She was a resident of Portage Pointe Care Facility. She was 91.

At Shirley’s request, cremation has taken place in Michigan and a private service will be held at Canaan Corners Cemetery in Waymart at the family’s convenience.

Robert M. Schmidt, Sr.

Robert M. Schmidt, Sr., a lifetime resident of North Branch, NY, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at home. He was 83.

Friends may call on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Callicoon, NY. Services will be November 8 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in North Branch, NY.
