ELDRED, NY — Eldred Central School has six winners in the Scholastic Art Awards Regional Competition, which includes Dutchess, Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties. In the front row are sophomore Julian DeLeon (Gold Key in Design), senior Devyn Halter (Gold Key for Photography Portfolio, and two Gold Keys for two additional separate photographs) and senior Miranda Schwartz (Silver Key in Design).

All are students of Jennifer Ritondo, art teacher at the Junior-Senior High School. This is the fourth year Eldred has participated in this national competition and the fourth year to have Gold and Silver Key recipients. There will be an exhibit on display of all Silver and Gold Key regional award winners on February 10 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the McKenna Theater at SUNY New Paltz (snow date February 11).
