The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office is seeking the help of the public on a burglary case involving the Billy Stop gas station at Exit 111 on Route 17 in Rock Hill.
On the morning of August 7, 2015, at about 3:45 am, a suspect wearing a ski mask, gloves, blue jeans and a blue hoodie smashed the glass of the front door of the establishment and entered. The suspect stole $2,000 in cigarettes and $300 in cash.
The suspect looks to be 5'10" to 6' in height with a skinny to
average build. The suspect's getaway vehicle is a small dark pickup truck with a short body and frame similar to a Chevrolet S-10. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office at 845-794-7100 or the confidential TIPs line at 845-807-0158.
