The New York State Police at Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Thomas P. Rebis, age 41, of Spring Glen NY for Assault 2nd, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd and Criminal Mischief 3rd, all felonies.

This arrest is the result of Troopers responding to a domestic dispute in the Town of Mamakating between Rebis and his 63 year old father wherein Rebis punched his father in the face and head area, struck him in the head with a beer bottle, causing lacerations to his head and ear, and smashed out several windows from his vehicle.

Rebis was arraigned before Town of Mamakating Town Justice Cynthia Dolan and was committed to the Sullivan County Jail on $15,000 bail. Rebis is scheduled to return to the Town of Mamakating Court on 11/10/14.
