On January 12, 2014, the New York State Police at SP Ellenville announce the arrest of Elisha M. Sickler, age 31, of Accord, NY, for the misdemeanor charge of Endangering the Welfare of Child.
The investigation revealed that Sickler was driving to Walmart and while en route a verbal altercation ensued between Sickler’s two juvenile children. Sickler pulled over her vehicle and her twelve-year-old son exited the vehicle. She then drove away, leaving her twelve-year-old son on State Route 209. Sickler proceeded to go shopping at Walmart and then returned home to her residence in Accord. Sickler was later located and arrested for leaving her twelve-year-old son on a State Highway by himself.
Elisha M. Sickler was arrested and processed at SP Ellenville. She was arraigned in the Town of Wawarsing Court and released on her on recognizance. She is to return in the Town of Wawarsing Court on January 17, 2014 at 8:30 a.m.
