On February 25th, 2012, State Police at Middletown arrested Adam Kenworthy, age 31 of Middletown after an investigation into the theft of jewelry from a residence in Slate Hill, NY.
Investigation revealed that Kenworthy had stolen jewelry on several occasions between November 2011 and February 2012 from the same residence and sold the jewelry at various gold buying establishments in the Middletown area. Several pieces of the stolen jewelry were recovered during the investigation.
Kenworthy was charged with Grand Larceny in the third degree, a felony. He was arraigned in Town of Wawayanda Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $2000 cash/$5000 bond.
