Honesdale supermarket theft investigated

On 04-14-2011, Honesdale Borough Police investigated a reported ongoing theft by an employee at Dave’s Super Duper Market on Willow Ave.

After an investigation by the police it was determined that employee Christopher R. Mizwinski, 31 years of age of the Honesdale area had been stealing money in excess of $2,000, beer, and cigarettes. The thefts occurred from the beer store while he was working over the course of a few months.

On 04-21-2011 a warrant charging Mizwinski with theft was obtained. Mizwinski was arrested and taken to the office of Magistrate Mikulak for a preliminary arraignment. Mizwinski was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.
