HARRIS, NY — Catskill Regional Medical Group has announced that that Lauren S. Roman, MD has joined their staff as a board-certified family medicine physician servicing both the Callicoon and Livingston Manor medical offices of Catskill Regional Medical Group.

Roman earned her medical degree from the University at Buffalo. She completed both her internship and residency at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Fort Hood, TX. She is the recipient of an Army Achievement Medal (AAM), an Army Commendation medal (ARCOM) a Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) and a Superior Civilian Service Award recognizing her military service, which includes serving in the Medical Corps at Imam Ali Air Base in Tallil, Iraq and the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity in Fort Drum, NY.

Prior to joining Catskill Regional Medical Group, Dr. Roman was medical director of River Hospital and a staff family physician at River Family Health Center in Alexandria Bay, NY.

Roman is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Association of Physician Leadership. She is author or co-author of multiple abstract publications. Dr. Roman is accepting new patients and can be reached at 845/887-5693 for an appointment.
