The congregations of the Catskill Area Lutheran Churches (CALC) invite the public to their events as Christians around the world begin the season of Lent. Lent is the period before Easter when Christians contemplate the events that led to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Ash Wednesday service: February 18, 7 p.m.

Tuesday adult Lenten service, meal, study on communion: February 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 5 p.m.

Palm/Passion Sunday service: March 29, 9 a.m.

Maundy Thursday service: April 2, 7 p.m.

Good Friday services: April 3, 12 noon to 3 Ecumenical service (tentative) and 7 p.m. (Tenebrae)

Easter Sunday services: April 5, 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. (8 a.m. Easter Breakfast—all welcome)
