FALLSBURG, NY — Fallsburg Pop Warner Football/Cheerleading’s Midget Cheerleaders placed second at the Eastern Region Cheer Championship held in Trenton, NJ on November 9. As a result of their strong showing in Trenton, the team is eligible to complete in the 2014 Pop Warner National Cheer Championship at Disney World, December 16 to 18, but they need support from the Sullivan and Ulster community to do so. The team consists of eight girls and one boy, whose ages range from 11 to 15. They come from Monticello, Liberty, Ellenville, Tri-Valley and Fallsburg school districts.
