HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Historical Society and the county commissioners invite you to tour the Old Stone Jail on Saturday, August 2 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. They extend a special invitation to the law enforcement community of Wayne County and beyond. If you are (or were) a sheriff, police, correctional, or probation officer, lawyer, U.S. marshal, or any other federal, state, or county law enforcement officer, they would like to meet you and show you around the jail that was built in 1858. Don’t worry; you won’t have to work the whole shift. Stop by and share your stories.
