HONESDALE, PA — One of the biggest energy users can be your water heater. A forum on Tuesday, March 18 will address smart choices when it comes to hot water systems. All are welcome to attend this free forum at the Park Street Complex at 7 p.m. The forum is sponsored by the local non-profit group SEEDS (Sustainable Energy Education & Development Support).
Larry Reeger and Gordon Smith, both members of the SEEDS Advisory Committee, will lead the discussion, which will include comparison of tankless on-demand water heaters; heat pump water heaters; tank heating using solar, gas, electric; and hybrid systems. This forum should prove useful to both those interested in upgrading their present system and those facing new construction.
For a full list of forums and other SEEDS programs, visit seedsgroup.net or contact the office at 570/245-1256, located on the second floor of The Cooperage at 1030 Main St.
