NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) is now accepting applications for two 2014 Artists in the Community (AIC) grants of $2,000 apiece. Any Sullivan County artist in any genre (including writers) may apply. The purpose of the grant is to stimulate new and significant work in a community setting. Deadline is April 4, 2014.
The DVAA is offering a grant-writing seminar to assist artists in the process of applying for an AIC grant on Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at the Delaware Arts Center, 37 Main St. Grant guidelines will be discussed, as well as how to craft an effective narrative and budget, and questions in regard to specific projects will be answered.
