PORT JERVIS, NY — A few free workshops will be held at The Hub at the Port Jervis Free Library in February. On Saturday, February 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the Backyard Series “Animal Tracks in the Snow” will be held. Come to The Hub and learn to identify some of the most common animal tracks you might see in your own backyard or nearby woodlands. Make your own tracking guide and try to solve tracking mysteries. During the second hour, you will join environmental educators at West End Beach in Port Jervis and put your new knowledge to work. The presenter is Scott Reichert and special guests.

Also on February 22, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., the Backyard Series “Carding, Spinning, Knitting” will be held. Learn the basics of washing, carding, spinning, and knitting. The presenter is Donna Hanchett.

On Monday, February 24, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. “Using eBay” will be held. There are many ways that you can buy and sell items on the Internet. This class will focus on two of them—Craigslist and eBay. Learn how to post items for sale on eBay. The presenter is Ken Herbig.
