Little Piggies need a paint job

July 2, 2014

NARROWSBURG, NY — Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) is piggy backing on Narrowsburg’s popular Pig Mountain: Pig Roast and Veggie Fest. They are giving out dozens of “naked” piggy banks that need a paint job, or a marker job, or a sticker job, or a glitter job, or a spray paint job. The decorated piggies will be sold during Pig Mountain on Saturday, August 23, and the proceeds will benefit the DVAA. Everybody can participate, you don’t need to be an artist. Just let your imagination run hog wild. You can even win a prize; a jury will select the Best in Show.

Piggy banks can be picked up at DVAA (Tuesday to Saturday), 37 Main St. or at The Heron (Thursday to Monday), 40 Main St. (both in Narrowsburg). Decorate it as you wish, and return your pig by August 14. Call 845/252-7576. Oink, oink!
