Pinot on the Patio wine dinner

MILFORD, PA — The River Rock Inn will toast the beginning of the summer season with a five-course “Pinot on the Patio” Wine Dinner on Thursday, June 26 at 7 p.m. The event will be hosted by Mark DeAntonio of Southern Wines and Spirits, who will present and discuss each selection.
“We’ll be featuring wines that are perfect complements to summer grilling recipes,” said manager Janice Halsted. “Chef/owner Ken and chef Carl have collaborated to create a menu that will offer our guests an appetizing array of summer recipes.”
The first course will feature grilled shrimp over butter lettuce with mango and teardrop tomatoes drizzled with coconut lime vinaigrette. Blackstone Pinot Grigio from California accompanies this course. Next will be pan seared cod with quinoa cake and gazpacho, served with Hogue Cellars Pinot Grigio from Washington state.
For the third course, guests will enjoy garlic marinated baby lamb chops over polenta with a mint rosemary aioli, served with Cadet D’Oc Pinot Noir from France. The second main course is smoked beef brisket with bacon and braised collards over horseradish mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, served with Mark West Santa Lucia Pinot Noir from California. For dessert, guests can sample homemade biscotti with their coffee and tea.
