GREENTOWN, PA — The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), the PA Bureau of State Parks and the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs have partnered to present a beginner’s kayaking program at Promised Land State Park on Saturday, July 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All active duty, retired, prior service members and their families are invited to join the park’s naturalist on a paddle throughout Promised Land Lake.
Kayaks, paddles and personal flotation devices (PFDs) will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. If you have your own canoe or kayak, you must have a DCNR launch permit or registration from the PA Fish and Boat Commission.
