Dixon, Ring of Fire in a tribute to Carter and Cash

MILFORD, PA — A tribute to two of pop-culture’s icons, June Carter and Johnny Cash, will be paid on Saturday, September 22 at the Milford Theater. Starting at 8 p.m., Terri Dixon will perform some of June Carter’s most notable hits, while Michael Patrick’s Ring of Fire Band will present some of the greatest songs of “The Man in Black,” Johnny Cash.

“Terri Dixon is an amazing artist,” remarked Jerry Beaver, owner of the Milford Theater. “Her theatrical background combined with her incredible voice is nothing short of extraordinary, and we are so lucky to have her right here in Milford. The last time she shared the stage with Michael Patrick’s Ring of Fire Band, they were dynamite, and now that she will be performing songs by June Carter, the show will be electrifying.”

Along with the songs of Carter, Terri Dixon will also perform a few songs by Patsy Cline, a Milford Theater favorite.

Michael Patrick’s Ring of Fire Band will perform songs such as “Ring of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Man in Black.”

Tickets for the performance cost $20 in advance or $25 the day of show at the theater, located at 114 East Catharine St. They can be purchased at Upriver Home located at 202 Broad St. in Milford, or online at www.MilfordTheatre.com.
