HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance will hold two professional development workshops: one on understanding generational differences in the workplace, and one on supervisory skills. 

Understanding Generational Differences looks at generational diversity in the workplace, and will be held on Wednesday, April 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

It’s dedicated to resolving generational conflict and fostering understanding among Traditionalist, Baby Boomer, Gen X, Millennial and Gen Z workers. Attendees will explore the distinct work styles and priorities of each generation. The cost is $20 and it takes place at the Stourbridge Project Cafetorium. The second workshop is a series, which will be held every Wednesday from April 10 to May 29, 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the Stourbridge Project Cafetorium. Led by Penn State professionals with extensive real-world experience, participants will learn about communication, relationship-building, performance management and more.
