HONESDALE, PA — The Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) Gallery announced its first Member’s Curated Exhibition with the opening of “THREADS: Fiber Artworks” on view from Friday, June 21 through Sunday, July 28. An artist’s reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28. 

The bold designs and rich colors in the work of WCAA member artists Katharina Litchman and Buff McAllister are a result of careers spent exploring textiles and collage design and creating wall hangs and quilts. Their fiber artworks are resonant of both traditional quilt making and fine artworks. 

The WCAA Gallery is located at 959 Main St., and is open from Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday’s hours are extended from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
