Monticello’s Jaykim Abraham placed second in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump, while Liberty’s Gabe Desrochers, described by his coaching staff as “very versatile, good from the 100 meter to 3200 meter,” finished second in the 400 meter and second in the 800 meter.

Monticello’s Evan Waterton took “gold” in three events: 800 meters at 2:05, 1,600 meters at 4:30 and 3,200 meters at 14:35. He was also part of the team that picked up first place in the 4x400 relay.

Overall boys team results: Monticello 105, Liberty 24; Liberty 52, Eldred 44.

Overall girls team results: Monticello 94. Liberty 23; Liberty 48, Eldred 46.
