MILFORD, PA — The Pike County Historical Society continues its Dinner and a Creature Feature series with “The Monster of Piedras Blancas” (1959) at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20.
A California lighthouse keeper feeds the local sea monster. Everyone is surprised when the monster moves on from table scraps to local residents.
Producer Jack Kevan recycled old monster parts and costumes into a new monster; monster fans will spot mole parts from “Attack of the Mole People” and mutant parts from “This Island Earth.” Some of the resulting costume would later be used in an episode of “Flipper,” the historical society said.
The event will be held in the Foundation Room of the Columns Museum. Tickets cost $35 each and include dinner, dessert, coffee and the movie.
The museum is located at 608 Broad St.
Reservations are required; call 570/296-8126.
