MONTICELLO, NY — Five new recruits in the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division graduated from the Orange County Police Chiefs’ Academy on September 6, after 23 weeks of training. They will now move on to their next phase of training under the guidance of Field Training Officers (FTO), before they are finally certified to patrol on their own.
