BETHEL, NY — All are invited to a free screening of "Little Richard: I Am Everything" (2023, Magnolia Pictures) in the Event Gallery at Bethel Woods at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening, September 23.

Advance registration is suggested; doors open at 6 p.m.

A panel follows the film.

The film is a pre-event presentation of the Big Eddy Film Festival, which takes place the following weekend.

Presented in partnership with Bethel Woods, the documentary tells the story of the Black queer origins of rock n’ roll, exploding the whitewashed canon of American pop music to reveal the innovator—the originator—Richard Penniman.
