MILFORD, PA — Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak:
Mirline Jean, age 21, of Brooklyn, NY, was sentenced to a fine of $100 for the Crime of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jean was a passenger in a vehicle which was pulled over by the state police for erratic driving along I-84 in Blooming Grove Township on April 3, 2021. A consent to search the vehicle revealed Jean in possession of Marihuana roaches, a grinder and rolling papers.
Justin Wayne Cook, age 28, of Milford, PA, was sentenced a fine of $400 for the crime of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana. Milford Police were dispatched to West Harford Street on October 1, 2020, for a disturbance involving Cook. When contact was made with Cook, he was found in possession of a small amount of Marihuana.
