We are Bill and Cindy Prince. We have lived in White Sulphur Springs, NY all our lives. As registered Republicans we are urging all of our neighbors and residents of Sullivan County to vote for Paula Kay to be the next Assemblymember from Sullivan County.
Yes, we will be voting for many Republicans, but we also know how the math works in Albany. To get anything for our county, we need a Democrat who will stand up for us.
The way we see it, Paula Kay is not your ordinary Democrat. Yes, she supports better health care for our county, more affordable housing, helping our seniors and our veterans—but so do we. She also supports bail reform, fighting inflation, helping our first responders and making our communities safer. And so do we.
We should add that we noticed how many law enforcement unions support her and that she was a former town prosecutor.
As Republicans, we cannot always draw a line and say “She’s a Democrat, so we can’t vote for her.” We simply agree on too much. Plus, her almost 30 years of living and working and helping others in Sullivan County means she knows what issues matter most to our neighbors.
So, what’s the difference between Paula and her opponent? As a member of that Democratic majority, she can actually get things done. She will be in the room to voice her opinion to get the things we need. Whether it is legislation or money, we stand a better chance with Paula.
Her opponent says, “Just help me flip one seat and things will be different.” The Democratic majority is 102-48. As we said, we can do our math and we think having Paula in the majority is the safe bet for getting assistance for what matters for Sullivan County.
Her opponent can continue to serve his community in Orange County. We need someone who can serve us in Albany.
Vote for Paula Kay for the New York State Assembly, because she is the only candidate who can actually help Sullivan County.
