Pike County announced criminal sentences for July 2, 2020

Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak on July 2, 2020:

Casey Ann Hockenberry, age 37, of Huguenot, NY, was sentenced to 1 year of probation and fined $100.00 for the crime of Disorderly Conduct. Hockenberry struck an individual in the head with a dog gate and threatened violence to the individual at a residence in Westfall Township on September 11, 2019.

Gustave Debree, age 46, of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $200.00 for the crime of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The state police responded to a vehicle crash along Blooming Grove Road in Blooming Grove Township on September 15, 2018, in which Debree was a passenger. Debree was found in possession of baggies used for the storage of a controlled substance.

Brian Clyde Berryhill, age 24, of Matamoras, PA, was sentenced to 48 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500.00 for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. The state police were dispatched to Park Road in Delaware Township on February 11, 2018, where Berryhill had crashed his vehicle. In speaking with Berryhill, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage. Berryhill admitted to drinking prior to driving. Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a blood test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .121%.
