PIKE COUNTY, PA ― Pike County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) partnered with Subaru for its 13th annual “Share the Love” event. During the holiday season, for every new vehicle purchased or leased, Subaru will donate  $250 to charity. Through “Share the Love,” Subaru has donated over $200 million to charity overall.

Participants are able to choose from four national or over 1,440 hometown charities.

This past year was the first year the AAA participated, and Subaru donated $3,318 to Pike County AAA. “The funds will be used for the Meals on Wheels program. In addition to supplying meals, a portion of the profits will be used towards equipment upgrades including freezer and refrigeration units,” says executive director Robin Skibber.
