LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PA — James May, former northeast regional press director for PennDOT, has announced that he is stepping down from his position at PennDOT and running to serve the 114th District in the PA House of Representatives. The 114th district is located in Lackawanna County and encompasses several municipalities throughout the county.
May served as press director for nine years. He is running as a Republican against an incumbent Democrat Bridget Kosierowski.
May said that his platform includes promoting pro-life values, cutting government spending and fighting Gov. Tom Wolf’s “Restore PA” plan to repair the commonwealth’s infrastructure; he also said that he will tell the House to “cut the nonsense and fix the roads.”
