DINGMANS FERRY, PA — The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) has announced upcoming learning opportunities. On Sunday, March 23, the center will host a moss-identification hike from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost to register for this exploration of various mosses that cover the local grounds is $5.

Later the same day, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the center will hold a terrarium workshop. Participants will create their own custom terrarium from recycled materials. Olivia and Alyssa from Club Moss will help attendees create their own mini ecosystems in jars. Class will cover the set up and care of terrariums. Cost to attend is $20 per person.
