FOREST CITY, PA — The Forest City Area Historical Society will host musician Paul Hayward at the museum at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2.
Hayward is a native of Forest City, and a traveling singer/songwriter as well as a minister, restaurateur and more.
He’ll “be singing songs and spinning tales from my childhood,” he said.
Despite everything he’s done, “I’m still a kid from the Endless Mountains, not much different than when I used to walk around the woods from Forest City to Pleasant Mount to Elk Mountain.”
The performance will benefit the historical society.
The museum, which is handicapped accessible and air conditioned, is located at the corner of Main Street and Dundaff Street.
There is no admission fee but donations are welcomed.
